Do you have a student interested in the Computer Science field? Are you uncertain how to teach your student computer programming? This course is for you! Introduction to Computer Programming builds basic concepts using the ‘C’ language. Students will learn about their computer, how to build programs, how to manage data, how to control program flow, and how to interact with users. We provide the course and activities, you provide the computer! Students will use the Visual Studio Express software to create programs in the ‘C’ language. See the F.A.Q. for hardware and software requirements.
Our Student Textbook has nearly 200 pages of instruction, broken down into 16 easy-to-follow chapters. Each chapter contains at least one activity, which allows the student to practice the concepts they have learned. The Student CD has all of the sample code that is used in the textbook.
Our Teacher's Edition is written so that even the parent with little to no computer knowledge can follow and guide their student's progress. There are over 80 pages of tests and answers, teaching notes, activity notes and a Teachers’ CD with activity solutions, printable tests, and more!
Students will jump right into programming, writing their first program within the first few chapters!
